Following the governing body's approval of plaques for vehicles aged 100 years or more, we put on a special presentation for the owners of eligible VCCAQ vehicles.  The Deputy Premier of Queensland, Mr. Paul Lucas, did the honours and then enjoyed a ride in John Day's 1903 Curved Dash Oldsmobile.

Whatizzit?
Elsewhere in the paddock there were plenty of pre-1919 cars that had been brought along to add to the occasion.
These are some of the 17 vehicles that were entitled to receive plaques - the stars of the show!
To do this properly you must first learn to ride a horse!
And it was all very exciting for the Deputy Premier...
