The Northern Rivers Vintage and Veteran Car Club celebrated it's 50th year in style with a 7-day rally to which we were invited. The majority of the 150-odd vehicles were from the post-veteran era, but where we downhearted? No, we just breathed it all in and enjoyed the fabulous northern NSW countryside. The captions of two of these photos refer to bush tucker. This is a generic Australian term for food that is made from natural resources in the bush (forests jungles, desert, etc.), and also loosely applied to food prepared in outdoor/camp kitchens.
