ENTRIES NOW OPEN!
We've had an overwhelming response to our request for Expressions of Interest and now we're ready for you to sign up for the Tour. If you've already sent us an Expression of Interest you will receive either an email or postal copy of the Entry Form. You can also download the form from this web site.
There are some limitations on numbers and so acceptance of Entries will be on a strictly first come, first served basis. If you miss out we'll put you on a waiting list.
The organising committee has been working hard to ensure that there's something for everyone. Here's an idea of what's being planned:
- Welcome Function at the City of Ipswich Art Gallery
- Visit a Motorcycle museum
- Fun Kana for the sporting types
- Gas Light Parade
- Visit Amberley Air Force Base
- Visit Willowbank Drag Strip - timed 200-yard runs!
- Lots of rural touring, but each day's driving will finish at about 3pm
- Food, tea, coffee and bar all available at Tour HQ (Ipswich Showgrounds)
- Historic precincts
- Plenty of free time
- Transport in historic omnibuses and coaches
- Static display for the public
- Enjoy a performance at the Incinerator Theatre
- Visit the Workshops Rail Museum
- Presentation Dinner
